WHERE SHOULD YOU BEGIN AT PRACTICE YOGA?

I think it really depends on your comfort level and what you're looking for. If you feel like you want more of an active yoga experience jump into any flow class and just have fun with it!
Slow Flows and Power Vinyasa Flows & Strength Classes offered 7 days a week. 

If you'd like to move slower, take your time, maybe chill out more and get some body awareness any of the following are great options: Yoga, Yoga Flow, Yin Yoga and Yoga for Deep Rest or Roll + Stretch are offered throughout the week.
Below are some more details to consider when booking a class…

There is no linear progression your practice must take.

The journey to your mat begins wherever you’d like. Some days are made for challenges while others are for slowing down. Our team welcomes you to any class that piques your interest, and whether you feel like “you’re ready” shouldn’t keep you away.

The #’s after any class simply mean the duration of time: 45, 60 & 75 minutes. Typically the shorter the class time in a flow class, the quicker paced the class may be. All FLOW classes are named as such, which means there will be Sun Salutations as either a warm-up and/or throughout class. Think of these as more of your active/yang practice.

Classes are Heated, Warm or Non-Heated so make sure you check that out before scheduling. The heat can be beneficial to some, while uncomfortable for others. We don’t think there is a right or wrong way to practice, but just so you keep this in mind while booking.

Heated 93 degrees
Warm 80-85 degrees

Class Descriptions

YOGA This class is meant for all levels. Body awareness, breathwork and meeting yourself where you are. With patience and practice we can tap into our inner resiliency, no matter what that looks like. All-Levels 60mins

Yoga Flow practiced in a warm room and we move more than a yoga class and maybe take some sun salutations. It’s a great class to try out “more” in a welcoming environment. Great All-Levels Class 60 mins

YIN YOGA “Our goal in life is not to become perfect, our goal is to become whole” Bernie Clark We take our time in this class, as we move in and out of poses, mostly on the floor and often supported with props. Tapping into our inner selves and cultivating a sense of mindfulness we don’t always get to.

YOGA FOR DEEP REST This class is meant for all levels. As we prepare the body for deep rest, some movements and pranayama may be different than you'd anticipate. Coming in with an open mind, heart and ability to tap into your bodies own needs. All Levels 60mins

ROLL & STRETCH
(+ Monthly Myofascial Classes 1x a month on Wednesdays)
Join Margie Thursday evenings at 7:15pm for this lovely class. We use different technique and tools to compress, pin and manipulate our connective tissues, then stretch a bit. Such a great offering for cross training, new to yoga or to help relieve aches + pains. Please also note we offer this once a month on Wednesdays at 7:15pm Starting Jan 8th!

SLOW FLOW In this class we move at a slower pace and take our time, but please don’t mistake the word slow for easy. This class offers us a chance to shake up our tissues and create that wonderful “I just feel better” sensation afterwards because of the time and care put into each posture. This is a great class for all students looking for movement but not at a pace that may take you out. All Levels ready for movement 45 + 60 + 75mins

POWER VINYASA These classes are the most vigorous of our offerings, but don’t let this scare you off. It’s not for the sake of a workout, but about what we learn when we are challenged. Each teacher will bring their own knowledge, understanding and curiosity to the practice. Whether you choose non-heated, heated or a warm offering, these classes will build an internal heat that will presence you in the moment. Offered 7 days a week. All Levels ready for movement 45, 60 + 75mins

Roll & Stretch will be a new wonderful addition to the schedule. Thursdays at 7:15pm join the talented Marhie

STRENGTH CLASSES
Group Strength Our bodies respond to the demands we put upon them, as well as the demands we don’t. These classes are a great way to harness strength into your everyday lives as well as balancing out your flexibility or endurance. Circuit Style 45mins
Strength + Roll For the love of a yoga practice & strength work, this class combines both. Students will be on their own mats, moving at a pace that works for them as Leah guides the class through a yoga practice, where she incorporates weights and bands for extra spice. Do as much or as little as it works for you! And we will every class ends with myofascial work
All Levels Welcome 45mins
Mat Strength Students will be on their own mats as Leah guides a powerful class to kick up your movements and heartrate. Each week will have a different emphasis and focus. Bands and weights will be provided, but as always do as much or little as you see fit. All Levels Welcome 45mins
